New Shop Items

Although it may not feel like Spring, it will be here before you know it! I have been working on some beautiful items for my shop just in time for Easter (samples pictured below). I also received this gorgeous stash of Tanya Whelan fabric which I will be using to make some quilts and banners. I will be listing some quilts from my new line very soon so make sure to stop by my shop!

Aged Ribbons

I am happy to announce some new craft supplies that will be available in my Etsy shop. Soon I will be listing several different sets of hand stamped muslin ribbon and aged, crinkled seam binding ribbon. The muslin fabric has been tea stained and stamped with permanent ink in sepia. The seam binding has been stained and crinkled to give it a beautifully aged look. Here are a few pictures of what will be available soon. I hope you like them as much as I do!!!

I will also be listing a variety of vintage buttons from my own supply. Stop by often as I will be adding new items every week.

Delicious Vintage Sheets

I hope everyone had a great summer! I enjoyed my time with my two boys, but now they are back in school and I am back to work. I have been working on many seasonal items and have quite a few listed in my Etsy shop. I have also been working on my vintage sheet fabric stash. Unfortunately, I have not had much luck finding my own vintage sheets on my trips to the consignment shops, but I was lucky to have found a few great shops on Etsy. Here are a few samples of the goodies I found, which will soon be made into some beautiful baby quilts!

Here is a small list of shops I have found on Etsy. They all have a great selection of vintage sheets for crafting!

I will share some pictures of the quilts I make with these delicious recycled fabrics when I am finished!

Vintage Charm

Well, Spring is in full swing here and the weather has been beautiful! Doesn't it make you want to dive into some lovely magazines and get some inspiration? I came across a gorgeous publication, Creating Vintage Charm magazine, and editor Sonia Crouse was so sweet to include an item from my shop in the Market Place section of their May, 2013 issue.

You can view samples of previous issues or order your own at Creating Vintage Charm Magazine

And, to celebrate spring, I ordered a shipment of fresh French lavender and my whole house smells like heaven. I am working on some very pretty, shabby chic sachets which will be available in my shop very soon.
I absolutely love these sachets. I used premium grade lavender and several different Rachel Ashwell fabrics to create these gorgeous decorative sachets. I will be listing these, and many more new items in the next few months, so don't forget to stop by! Enjoy your Spring!!!

Vintage Inspired French Lavender Sachets

Spring is on it's way and I will be listing some new french lavender sachets that not only smell fantastic, but are beautiful as well. I like to take a handful of them and display them together in a decorative container. I love the way they add a little pop of color while scenting my room at the same time.
